There is no small role, but there is only a small actor.

The title of this is one of words we casts have leant today (March 9) from Sheila, the director of MP14.

タイトルは、今日（3月9日）のリハで、今回のMPの監督であるシーラが、キャスト陣に教えてくれた言葉です。

Every character has its own “history”, even though it is not seen in the play... so deep!!

全てのキャラクターには、それぞれが積み重ねてきた「歴史」がある、たとえ作中に描かれていなくても……深いっ！！

I’ve just rediscovered my responsibility as a cast, and for cherishing my part. 

キャストとしての、そして自分の役を大切するという責任があることを改めて認識出来ました。

Hello, this is Yuta Kubo, aka Ghibli.  A member of Dokkyo Univ. E.S.S., and a cast of MP14.

こんにちは、ジブリこと、くぼゆうたです。 獨協大学ESS所属、そしてMP14ではキャストを務めます。

Personally, I think that today’s “Talk & Listen” activity was the most exciting one ever I did before.

個人的にですが、今日やった「トーク＆リッスン」が、自分が今までした中で一番楽しかったなって思います。

FYI, “Talk & Listen” is that we everyone, not only casts, read through the script scene by scene in a group of several people, deciding everyone’s role to play each time.

ちなみに「トーク＆リッスン」とは、キャストだけでなく、メンバー全員で数人のグループに分かれて、その都度それぞれ役を決め、各シーン毎に台本を読み進める、そんな感じ。

The point is, Sheila always says, each of us in a group really has to send/receive the messages, looking at each other, and sometimes touching each other.

シーラもいつも言っていますが、大切なのは、グループみんながお互いに目を見て、時には触って、本当にメッセージを伝え／受け取らなくてはいけないこと。

Actually it is not as easy as being said.

まぁ、言うてそんなに簡単じゃないんですけどね。

We worked on a kind of really climax scene of the piece “The Little Tree” today.

今日は「リトル・ツリー」の中でもクライマックスともいえるシーンをやりました。

It is the scene when... well, you should come and see it at the performance for yourself!! lol

どんなシーンかっていうと…… いや、そこは公演本番で自分の目で確かめてもらいましょう(笑) 

Anyway, I think it is a really serious and important part of this story.

とにかく、マジで重要な場面なんです。

I was reading Little Tree’s lines at that time.

自分はリトル・ツリーのセリフを読んでいました。

As I went on, however, I unexpectedly started to cry actual tears :-/ and couldn’t stop it even in the song practice time...

でも進むにつれ、まさかのガチ泣きしてしまい(--;) 歌の練習時間の最中でさえも涙が止まらなくなってしまいました。

Thank you for giving me a Kleenex, Sheila...

シーラ、その節はティッシュを貸してくださり、どうもありがとうございました。

It was just a “Talk & Listen”, so I was just really surprised at what happened to me.  It is now a funny memory for me.

あくまで「トーク＆リッスン」だったのに、そんなこともあるんですね。 今となってはおかしな思い出ですよ。

And I know now, this is going to be a really GREAT stage!!

でも確信しました、これは絶対ヤバい劇になるな！と。

Even only the script can make me impressed that much.

台本読むだけでこれだけ感動するんだから。

I imagine how the real performance will be... and can’t wait!! XD

本番がどんな感じになるのか想像すると、もう待ちきれないですね！ (>∀<)

I am very happy that I can take part of such a wonderful work with all of members here.

みんなと、こんな素晴らしい作品の舞台に参加出来ることが、とても幸せです。

BTW, many of us, including me, are suffering from the cold recently.

ところで、最近風邪気味の人が自分も含め大勢います。

But we’ll never give up, “THE SHOW MUST GO ON”!!

でもあきらめない、「ザ・ショウ・マスト・ゴー・オン」！
